Rated 5 out of 5 by Sanibean from Nice but what would I use for Pedestal is very nice, made strong, but other than using to hold the washer I see no need for the drawer. What would you use for. Bottles and boxes of detergent are much larger than the drawer is deep, so that cuts down on uses. Maybe good for hiding Christmas presents. Either way the pedestal is a nice feature to have, whether you use or not.

It keeps both our washer with sidekick and dryer at the same height. A bonus feature is that it provides some storage space. We were worried initially if it gets hot when we operate the dryer. But luckily the dryer is well insulated so we can keep anything inside the pedestal storage space. Note that it is not tall enough to keep some of the large laundry detergent cans though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Barry 696969 from Attaching t clips When i try to put the t clips on my dryer model WDP5V they wont slide in the slot or stay in place. The LG video shows them just sliding in, but that is not the case. I get 1 or 2 to barely stay on and by the time i get to the 3rd one one falls off. I have called customer support to no avail. They have no idea how to do it. They keep telling me to watch the videos. Videos didn't help Thee must be a trick to it with out bending the metal around the edges of the slots. Can't believe why it's not included with washer? Crazy price tag for what it is!! It's only a glorified pedestal that matches the beautiful washer that would look bad with blocks underneath to bring up to desired level. OK....this does have a storage drawer!!!

It puts the dryer at just the right height and allowed us more storage space.

Is there supposed to be something in the handle part (the space that the control panel occupies on the washer sidekick)? If not, is there something that should be where the screw holes are? It looks very unfinished the way it is. I'm wondering of something was left out with the installation since the washer sidekick was missing the measuring cup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I thought this was a waste of money but my gut told me to get the pedestals because Im gettimg older. Best decision ever. Washer and dryer are at a perfect height and my laundry items are in the drawer for convenience. Love our laundry room now.
